Top Mole, Mayor Molly McMole, Can't Stop Digging up Facts About our Forefathers---Books now on Amazon and Kindle

Our kids are not being taught American History or perhaps if they are taught its things like how greedy our forefathers were, as they were slave owners,  Also, there  are many topics missing from their history text books.  Think back in your schooling, my memory is that our first president is known for chopping down the cherry tree and when confronted he told the truth.  We were not taught that teenager George Washington was a surveyor of the land from the Atlantic to the Ohio Territory, and after that as a young soldier fought in the French Indian War and was a hero, preparing him to lead the troops against the tyrannical British. When he was surveying this vast land  he was accompanied  by his American Indian friends.  They are not taught that his most important aide was black warrant officer Mr. Billy Lee who saved Washington's life more than once.  The proof is in the famous portraits of Washington-- Officer Lee appeared more than 6 times and he built him a house on the Mount Vernon estate.

When I started writing these books I had to do a lot of research to write why our forefathers were important, not all are old white guys, in fact the average age was 35 years and when Washington crossed
the Delaware in that historical battle he was only 44 years old. You will find many women heroes too like Betsy Ross who sewed the first American flag,  one woman even fought in the war, some were spies.

History can be boring to some so I wrote in free verse poetry, (a little like Dr. Seuss)  and the teacher is a little mole, Mayor Molly McMole, leader of her mole tribe, who loves digging up facts about how our colonies became the United States of America and because they are storybooks, something to read to your children as a bedtime story or even an interesting text book, a study guide was added.  All this learning takes place down the mole hole, under San Diego, California.  There are colorful illustrations too!

If you feel you or your child should know more about our American history in this topsy-turvy age we are living in, then you must read these books, now on Amazon and Kindle.
